Ivan Mathew has excellent credentials and is well-suited for antitrust litigation. He is a CPA and holds an advanced law degree in International Business Law from the London School of Economics. He has taught classes on U.S. antitrust law and European Union laws of competition to international assemblies of lawyers. Mr. Mathew's federal court experience includes four years as an Assistant U.S. attorney and the 19 years since as a defense lawyer focusing on federal fraud and financial crimes.

Defense Counsel — We represented officers in a brokerage firm investigated for price-fixing in the offering of municipal bonds. The transaction involved a complex bond structuring but no criminal intent. Mr. Mathew was able to articulate for prosecutors and the grand jury both the free market economic principles and the arcane workings of publicly issued securities. As a result, his clients were not indicted.

Plaintiff Representation — We represented a group of nurses who were hired through temporary staffing services. Mr. Mathew filed a civil antitrust suit against several hospitals for conspiring with temp agencies to fix nurse salaries, and achieved a settlement on behalf of the nurses.
